The regular season has ended for Red Deer College hockey, and Spirit River’s Tessa Ross  joins trending 55’s Kyle Moore to talk about the season. The North Peace Hockey League finalists have been determined. The NWJHL’s quarter-finals have one more game to play. The Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey will be limping in the playoffs as the Storm lost their 15th game in a row last night. Three games are scheduled in the Peace Country Female Hockey League on Sunday in Valleyview, Nampa and Grimshaw.

In this episode of The River Country Puck Drop the NWJHL playoffs are underway! They started last night and are on their way. The NPHL is into their semi-finals series which continues next Thursday. Alberta Junior Hockey Leagues’ Grande Prairie Storm is having a problem finding the win column and continues it’s losing streak. The Female Hockey League continues this weekend with games Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The NPHL playoffs are under way, and the league’s quarter-final series is going the distance. The NWJHL, has one weekend left in their regular season. There are 6 games scheduled this weekend to wrap up the regular season. We have a Grande Prairie Storm update, and the Peace Country Female Hockey League is off this long weekend; they’ll resume Friday, February 21st.

In this week’s episode, Trending 55’s Kyle Moore catches up with High Level’s Cameron Beson who is now in Fort McMurray.  More on the AJHL with a Grande Prairie Storm update, the NPHL finishes up their regular season, and updates on the NWJHL, who have 2 weeks left in their regular season. The Peace Country Female Hockey League continues, and Hockeyville Alberta has come out with the preliminary list of host sites for the 2020 Hockey Alberta Provincial Championships taking place in March, as well the Alberta Pond Hockey Championships in Lac Cardinal happen in March.  Entry level voting for Hockeyville is now taking place – good luck to La Crete – congratulations and all the best.

In this week’s episode of River Country Puck Drop, the 2020 Peace Country Female Hockey League season continues, and Becky Zimmerman of the Peace River Sharks give us her thoughts on the season so far, and we hear from Sharks Goaltender Kristy Provost.  We have updates on the NPHL who are into their final weekend of the regular season, as well as NWJHL activities, who has around 5 games left in their regular season. The Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Grande Prairie Storm are finishing the month of January, and Kraft Hockeyville voting is just around the corner for recently entered La Crete.
