Spirit River RCMP recover stolen property, drugs

SPIRIT RIVER — A recently executed search warrant in Spirit River has yielded a collection of stolen property and drugs.

On June 2nd, members of the Spirit River RCMP in conjunction with the Western Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Spirit River. As a result of their search, police would discover a stolen 2018 Ford truck, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, GHB, and stolen identity documents.

Charges would be laid against two Grande Prairie residents as result of the investigation, as 35-year-old Jesse Dollo and 28-year-old Jasmine Kate Den Admirant would both receive one count each of possession of GHB for the purpose of trafficking, possession of Cocaine, and possession of Methamphetamine.

In addition to these charges, Dollo would also receive one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 as well as three counts of fail to comply with recognizance. As for Den Admirant, she would receive an additional charge of possession of stolen identity documents.

“We will continue to utilize the assistance of specialized units such as RCRU to identify, disrupt, and arrest those responsible for criminal activities in the Spirit River area as we work towards our goal of reducing rural crime”, said Constable Hailey Hoffmann of the Spirit River RCMP.

Dollo will be appearing in provincial court today, while Den Admirant was released to appear on June 26th.
