Beaverlodge RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to locate approximately $2 million in stolen copper and parts from a gas plant north of Wembley. Officers responded to a break-and-enter at the plant on November 27th. Among the items taken from the plant include: spools of heavy gauge industrial copper, turbine parts, as well as other smaller stainless steel parts. Police believe the break-in occurred sometime between November 6th and November 27th.
