Western Alberta District Rural crime Reduction unit located and arrested two suspects in relation to a rural crime spree which occurred over 10 days.
RCMP located Jeremi Daniel Riopka, 30 and Tabatha Whitney Willier, 23 at a campsite in the MD of Greenview where they recovered: a stolen pickup truck, travel trailer, quad and thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen property.
Police also have a warrant to search for a storage unit in Clairmont.
Riopka was also charged with resisting arrest and assault with a weapon after trying to evade arrest and in connection to a bear spray incident on August 24th where a homeowner and dog were bear sprayed.
