Province reports 49 new cases of COVID-19; reports recoveries as well

Alberta Chief Medical Officer of Health says we have 49 new cases of the coronavirus.

Doctor Deena Hinshaw confirmed the news at her daily media session, and seven of those cases are in the Northern Zone.

According to Alberta Health Services, the province has a total of 149 cases, with 17 of them in the north.

Hinshaw also provided some positive news in announcing that three Albertans who contracted the virus have recovered.
