Parks Canada Sees Massive Reservation Spike in Alberta

Parks Canada opened up reservations on Wednesday and saw a 30% increase within the first 24 hours. Demand was so high in fact the website suffered some technical issues but everyone who wanted to make a reservation was able to do so according to Jed Cochrane, Acting Visitor Experience Manager for Lake Louise, Yoho and Kootenay. The reservations for Yoho and Kootenay National Parks  opened up this morning and are said to already be doing very well. Despite this increase there are still plenty of spots available but perspective campers are advised to reserve a site as soon as possible.
