January – Halle Krall

The Tim Hortons Athlete of the Month for January is Halle Krall.

Halle is a volleyball player for the Peace River High School Senior “A” Nomads, who won bronze at the provincials in Camrose. She was also named and got to play in the Grande Prairie Regional College High School Volleyball All-Star Game.

Halle first got into volleyball in the sixth grade for her T.A.A class, and was hooked ever since. What she loves most about volleyball is getting to meet new people and bond with her teammates, who support her no matter what. Before every game, Halle always tells herself to “make it count”.

Halle says winning bronze at the provincials was an incredible experience, and that she was so grateful for playing with her amazing teammates. She was also excited to play in the All-Star Game, which she admits to being a little nervous to participate in at first, but was warmly welcomed into the team. Halle added that she had a fun time at the All-Star Game, and was ecstatic that she got to go play.

As the Athlete of the Month, Halle would like to thank her coaches because she wouldn’t be the player she is without them, as well as her teammates and everyone she’s played with as they helped her improve her game. She’d like to give special thanks to her parents for going the extra mile to support her interest in volleyball, and for coming out to all of her games.

Moving forward, Halle would like to continue playing volleyball in university.

Congratulations Halle! We wish you all the best for the New Year!
