High Level — The on-going wildfire in the High Level region has been wreaking havoc on the areas power supply. ATCO Power crews have been working day and night trying to restore power back to the region.
ATCO Area Supervisor for High Level and La Crete, George Fehr, was able to provide an update on the situation this morning.
“Starting yesterday [night] at around I think 8:30 or 9 o’clock we were starting to energize customers in High Level and worked our way toward Fort Vermillion and La Crete and that East area,” Fehr explained, “Everyone was back on by 11:30 [last night]”
