With this weekend’s heavy downpour, certain events in the Peace are being called off.
So far rain has put the brakes on the Manning and Fairview Amateur Rodeos. If you’re heading out this weekend, be sure to check the event’s Facebook page to be certain it hasn’t been rained out.
Some events aren’t being cancelled entirely, but rather, amending their schedules such as the Peace Air Fair, which has been pushed to Sunday. The Air Fair begins at 8 A.M. until 2 P.M. at the Peace River Airport.
According to Environment Canada, we can expect up to 70 – 90 mm of rain by Sunday morning.
