Public works crews for the County of Northern Lights has responded to a collapsed bridge on the south end of the county.
A resident reported a hole in the road which resulted in Public Works crews investigating and closing the road.
The bridge is located east of Chinook Valley road near Township Rd 861a and Range Road 223.
The county has decided on a portable bridge to temporarily redeem the issue.
The temporary bridge is a more cost efficient solution until a full repair can be done to the damage.
The portable bridge is expected to be in place for at least one and half years.
